The equine-assisted activities and therapies programs and services that are hosted at the CSU Equine Science facilities are provided by third-party organizations. Front Range Exceptional Equestrians (FREE) provides therapeutic horsemanship programming and My Heroes, LLC provides outpatient therapy (sometimes referred to as Hippotherapy) services.

Through My Heroes’ and FREE’s programming, there are many volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in volunteering to help as a horse handler, sidewalker, horse leader, or with other tasks, please contact FREE or My Heroes. Additionally, if you are a CSU student and interested in helping provide care, exercise, training or conditioning to the horses used in the EAAT programs, please contact the Temple Grandin Equine Center.
